Emma’s Explorers: Out-of-School Service Serving Dunning Primary School

Emma’s Explorers is a Care Inspectorate registered out-of-school service offering high-quality childcare before and after school for children attending Dunning Primary School. It is of the utmost importance that the children feel welcome in the setting, and we aim to provide them with a nurturing environment where they can explore, have fun with each other and relax in a safe space.

We aim to spend as much time as possible outdoors in nature with the children as it benefits their cognitive development, social skills, independence, ability to take risks and it’s good for their health and wellbeing.

Children will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities from planting to cooking, child-led play, assessing risk independently, arts and crafts and lots of exploring!

We provide healthy breakfast options (if required) and snacks in line with nutritional standards. We can accommodate specific dietary requirements. Children can also bring food/snack boxes if this is the child’s/carer’s preference.
